The EnerGenius case-marathon is a business game combined with online learning wh ere participants gain professional knowledge and use it to complete real-life project tasks. The participants work in teams formed by representatives from different regions on one of the three areas: "Offshore oil and gas field development", "Creating a hydrocarbon field development concept" or "Petrochemistry".
At the final stage the teams present their solutions to the project tasks they have been working on remotely for three months. The winners are chosen by an expert jury.
24.03.2021 15.00 Start of the EnerGenius case-marathon final stage. Presentations of project solutions (cases).
25.03.2021 10.00 Presentations of project solutions (cases). Summing up the results. Awarding ceremony for the winners.
The EnerGenius educational project is conducted by the Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council with the participation and support of the Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra, Saint Petersburg Administration, Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Saint Petersburg Mining University, International Centre for Competences in Mining Education under the aegis of UNESCO.
The 3rd International Oil Academic Congress named after Farman Salmanov is one of the main venues of the 4th International Youth Applied Research Forum "Oil Capital".
In 2021, the academic congress is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the remarkable Soviet and Russian geologist, the discoverer of oil in Siberia, Farman Salmanov.
The congress is organized by Yugra State University.
The congress aims to demonstrate best practices in cooperation between scientific and educational organisations and oil companies, as well as the best models for transforming the system of scientific, technical and human resources support for the fuel and energy sector.
The congress traditionally includes 2 tracks: educational and scientific.
The educational track focuses on changes in oil and gas education related to the current global challenges as well as environmental education issues (including environmental volunteer work and educational projects for gifted children).
The scientific track is aimed at finding modern technological solutions for the extraction of hard-to-recover hydrocarbon reserves, given the increased requirements for the environmental component.
The Congress will feature world-class environmental experts, heads of Russia's top oil universities, and leading researchers as speakers.
The congress events will take place at the Khanty-Mansiysk ‘Boiling Point’ collaborative work environment of the Yugra State University and will be broadcasted online.
Join the expert dialogue. It is going to be interesting. Seats are limited.
